Low volume on Speaker when playing songs on Amazon Prime

This issue bugged me personally for a long time and it was mainly because the advice on the internet doesn’t seem to explain that actual issue and states the obvious solutions for an Android phone like raising the volume etc. Due to the lack of helpful advice out there I was getting to the point that I would switch to another music provider. Then one fine day while causally browsing the settings I found the fix.

First things first , check your volume on the device.

If you are casting the music to a smart speaker, check the smart speaker volume as well.

Check the if the volume issue is specific to Amazon Music or all Apps on the phone?

If the issue is specific the Amazon Music then open the app and on the top right you will find the settings Gear icon. Click it and navigate to Music Settings.

Under Music settings you will find the option for “Loudness Normalization” , switch it off if it is enabled.

Once done test your app to confirm the volume is back to normal.

And there you have it, finally I was able to enjoy my music in High fidelity. It seems like such a simple thing but I can’t explain how this bugged me. It had me wondering if I was slipping in my tech skills that I couldn’t figure out a simple issue such as volume control.
